WALLET NOTES / TERVO
Different wallets.
Accounts, clearly organised.
TERVO lets you import independent wallets using recovery phrases or private keys, then switch between their accounts in one app. A phrase wallet can contain several derived accounts; a private-key wallet contains one account. Grouping helps you organise receiving and spending addresses without combining their funds.
Wallets and accounts are different
A wallet is backed by its own recovery phrase or private key. An account is an address group within that wallet. Accounts derived from the same phrase have different addresses but share that phrase as their recovery backup. Wallets imported from different phrases need their own backups. Names and avatars are local labels; changing them does not change an address.
Add an account or import a wallet
Open Wallets and accounts from the top-left account name on the home screen, or from Me. To add an address group under an existing phrase, choose Add account inside that wallet’s group. To use another phrase or private key, choose Import wallet at the bottom and follow the app’s verification steps. Private-key wallets do not have Add account because they hold one key.

Import independent wallets and organise their accounts. Keep a separate backup for each wallet.
Illustrative balances, addresses and fees. Check the live quote before sending; do not send funds to preview addresses.Switch, name and check
Tap an account in the grouped list to make it active. Use its edit button to set a recognisable name and avatar, such as Daily or Savings. Before receiving or sending, verify the active account, selected network and complete address. Switching accounts does not transfer balances, and a familiar account name does not identify the network.
Back up and restore each wallet
Keep the original phrase or private key for every independent wallet offline. One wallet’s phrase cannot restore another imported wallet. For several accounts under one phrase, also record the account order and verify the original addresses after restoring and adding accounts again. Names and avatars are not recovery credentials. Never enter a phrase on this website or send it to support.
Separate use, shared responsibility
Different accounts can organise everyday spending and longer-term holdings. They do not automatically provide anonymity or separate custody: accounts from one phrase share its key material, and wallets on one device depend on that device’s security. A compromised phrase can affect all accounts derived from it. Keep backups private and check addresses and fees for each transfer.
Common questions
Do multiple accounts need separate recovery phrases?
Derived accounts under the same phrase share that phrase as their backup. Independently imported wallets need their own original phrase or private key. Account names and avatars are not recovery secrets. Re-add derived accounts in the original order and verify their addresses when restoring.
