Terms of Use

Welcome to TERVO (the "App"; the party that provides and maintains the App is "we" or "us"). By downloading, installing or using the App you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What the App is

  • The App is a non-custodial digital asset wallet tool that lets you create and manage wallets on your own device, view balances and initiate transfers.
  • We are not a bank, payment institution, exchange, custodian or broker, and we do not provide trading, exchange, lending, yield or any investment services.
  • We do not hold, keep or control any of your assets.

2. You are responsible for your recovery phrase and password

  • Your recovery phrase and private keys are generated and stored only on your device. We never receive, store or back them up.
  • The recovery phrase is the only way to restore your wallet. If it is lost, leaked or obtained by someone else, your assets may be lost forever, and we cannot recover, freeze or reverse anything.
  • The app password and fingerprint only protect access on this device and do not replace the recovery phrase. If you forget the app password, you can only re-import with your recovery phrase.
  • You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for not using the App on untrusted devices or in untrusted environments.

3. Transfers and network fees

  • Blockchain transactions cannot be cancelled, changed or refunded once broadcast. Check the recipient address, network and amount carefully before confirming.
  • Losses caused by a wrong address, a wrong network, scams or theft are your own responsibility.
  • Network fees are charged by the relevant blockchain, are set by the network and may change. Amounts shown in the App are estimates only.
  • Address reminders, look-alike address warnings and similar features are aids only and cannot detect every risk.

4. Third-party services

  • Balances, history and transaction broadcasting rely on third-party blockchain networks and node services. They may be delayed, inaccurate, interrupted or changed; we do not control them and are not responsible for them.
  • Blockchain networks, token contracts (including USDT) and their issuers are outside our control. Tokens may be frozen, upgraded or lose value by action of their issuers.

5. Test versions

  • Test versions connect to test networks. Tokens on test networks have no value and cannot be exchanged for real assets.
  • Test and early versions may contain defects. Do not use them to hold significant assets.

6. Your commitments

  • You will comply with the laws and regulations that apply to you, including those on digital assets, tax, anti-money laundering and sanctions. Do not use the App where such software is prohibited or restricted.
  • You will not use the App for any unlawful, fraudulent, money laundering, terrorist financing or rights-infringing activity.
  • You will not attack, disrupt, maliciously reverse engineer or circumvent the security of the App or related services.

7. Disclaimer

  • The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability and non-infringement.
  • We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free or completely secure, or that any information (including balances, fees or prices) is accurate or up to date.
  • Nothing in the App is investment, financial, legal or tax advice.

8. Limitation of liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we and related persons are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, including loss of assets, profits, data or goodwill, whether or not foreseeable.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any direct loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the App is limited to zero, or, where the law does not allow this, to the lowest amount the law permits.
  • Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liabilities to be excluded or limited; in those cases the above applies only to the extent permitted there.

9. Indemnity

You will bear, and hold us harmless from, any claims, losses and costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of law or your infringement of third-party rights.

10. Changes and termination

  • We may modify, suspend or discontinue the App or any feature at any time, and may update these Terms. Updated Terms take effect when published in the App; continuing to use the App means you accept them.
  • You may stop using and uninstall the App at any time. Make sure your recovery phrase is safely stored before uninstalling.

11. General

  • If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
  • Where these Terms exist in several languages and they differ, the Chinese version prevails.
